PAR
Pre-Authorized Remittance
PAR is a program for the local church that is administered through the United Church of Canada. Many people use the PAR system for their church offering, finding it a convenient way to fulfill their regular commitments to the church month by month. If you are interested in signing up for PAR, please contact the church office.
Envelope
Envelopes can be used on a weekly or monthly basis to contribute year-round.
Numbered envelopes can be requested through the church office.

Outreach
About Community Outreach:

Mission and Service is often described as the lifeblood of our church. That's because it runs through the veins of everything we do together as a church. If you have ever sung from a United Church hymn book, your life has been touched by Mission and Service. If you have ever been cared for by a United Church minister, Mission and Service has had an impact on you. No matter which region your church is in, there is an organization near you doing life-changing work in your community, supported through Mission and Service. If your church matters to you, then Mission and Service should matter too.
During the Advent season, the Strathearn Community Outreach committee organizes a Mitten Tree collection, supporting the Bissell Centre. We also take part in the annual No Room In the Inn campaign, collecting donations for a designated recipient, to help end homelessness in Edmonton and area.

We also encourage weekly donations in our regular offerings to the Mission & Service Fund of The United Church of Canada, to help with crisis, missions, and social injustices in Canada and around the world.
