How you can donate and help OUR Church
The primary role of the Mission & Outreach Committee is to bring awareness to the congregation of specific needs within the Edmonton and area community. Our committee selects projects to become involved with throughout the calendar year. Typical projects include: sponsoring a Mustard Seed Dinner, providing and serving lunch for the Inner City Pastoral Ministry (ICPM) program held at Bissell Centre, and an annual Outward Journey Project, to support one or more specific need of recipient charities in our community.
During the Advent season we have a Mitten Tree collection and a White Gift Sunday, for Bissell Centre. We also take part in the annual No Room In the Inn campaign, collecting donations for a designated recipient, to help end homelessness in Edmonton and area.
Please see below for more information on these giving opportunities.
We also encourage weekly donations in our regular offerings to the Mission & Service Fund of The United Church of Canada, to help with crisis, missions, and social injustices in Canada and around the world.
ways you can donate:
Cash or cheques may be dropped in the offering plate during weekly services.
Envelopes can be used on a weekly or monthly basis to contribute year-round.
Numbered envelopes can be requested through the church office.
PAR is a program for the local church that is administered through the United Church of Canada. Many people use the PAR system for their church offering, finding it a convenient way to fulfill their regular commitments to the church month by month. If you are interested in signing up for PAR, please contact the church office.
